She's eye-candy...so we won't notice how old and tired McCain looks. She does have a solid record of pro-life, pro-gun, pro-drilling in Anwar. Also I suspect the plan is to pull in a lot of the disenfranchised Hillary voters.

I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment.
Don't forget the NRA. Biden is pretty much an automatic lose to the NRA membership; so is Obama.
Palin has the potential to immediately grab this swath of disenfranchised voters as well.

Picking a woman for the ticket was pretty much a non-brainer for McCain; I would've been surprised if his handlers hadn't forced that move. That her views are largely the opposite of Hillary's is not going to matter much to the multitudes of femi-liberals disillusioned by Hillary's loss. Political skulduggery at its finest, except this is business as usual in American politics.

Fox News shows a few pictures of her shooting guns and that is all it takes to get all the patriot anti-government types to go in to a frenzy and vote for her.

Hellooo, she is a politician, skilled in the art of lying and deception and her running mate is still the same old neo-con war-monger he was 2 days ago.

If she were not a loyal servant of the USS criminal enterprise she would not have been picked to run as VP, it really is that simple. They leave nothing to chance.

She is not part of any criminal enterprise, she is a person, who has though fate and chance, and personal efforts to contribute to her state, found herself noticed by ambitious national politicians who hope her altruistic and genuine attitude of public service will cleanse them of their special interest contamination.

What may happen to these special interest puppets, is what has happened to many of the corrupt Alaska politicians that have gone down in flames since she has arrived on the scene.

I think she is the real deal and her presence inspires a higher calling. These high level Alaskan politicians wouldn't have been exposed had she been part of the party machine. She gave people the signal that it was no longer business as usual and that brought them down.

Yea, the last few days has really opened my eyes around here as to who the fickle ones are and which ones are the real deal. It is just mind blowing to see otherwise intelligent people, people who go on and on post after post, thread after thread, telling anyone who will listen how bad the world is and how compromised our government officials are, suddenly fall down and worship this floozy as if she is the second coming of christ.

Lets be clear, from day one after the election it will be business as usual no matter who wins and Mrs. Palin, no matter what her beliefs is or how many guns and fishing poles she owns, will do exactly what it is she is told to do and not a god damned thing more or less.

Anyone, I repeat, anyone, who thinks this woman stands for anything other than big oil and more war profiteering better be prepared to eat a big platefull of well cooked crow because she would not have been picked unless she is fully on board and in agreement with the NWO agenda. Period.

Now, if I found out she collects beanie babies, I might re-consider and throw my full support behind her...

I believe that Sarah Palin is one of the best politicians to come along in the Republican party in a very long long time. She represents what most Americans think, and I for one feel that if she is the real deal I would like very much to see her as President Sarah Palin.

I think people need to understand that the GOP has never mounted a serious campaign to end abortion in this country.

Because it would take a "get out the vote" bullet out of their gun. They need abortion to be legal so they can gin up support from knee jerk folks who will vote against their own economic and personal interests simply to keep their party in power.

I like Sarah Palin for my own reasons (though her ideals aren't as strong as Ron Paul's) and if I choose to run with the masses on this one then so be it ~ I can separate from the herd after the election.

Economically, there's nothing this election can fix so if not being 'savvy' means voting a major party then so be it.........at least my vote will count towards who gets in the Oval Office.........rather than just being a 'statement' or a 'statistic'.

IF I had the time and desire, I'd run for office myself but I'm not cut out for politics.............thus I have to choose soneone else on my behalf based on my own research.

I think I'm savvy ~ you (to all GIM'ers) may not agree and that's O.K. ~ get over it. :tongue_ma:

MY point is that with my support of Sarah Palin doesn't make me any less GIM than I am.......it doesn't remove my disdain for the FED.......nor does it help solve any issues with our paper FIAT.
